It is with great sorrow that we face the passing of Preacher Bob’s wife, Nita. They have been at the church for 21 years. Over the years Nita taught Sunday school, worked with the youth ministry, and participated in Easter and Christmas programs. She had a pretty alto voice and sang duets with Preacher Bob, solos, in the choir, and in special programs.
Nita had been sick for several months and not able to attend church since February. Though we are sad that she’s gone and will miss her, her suffering is over. What a blessing to die in the Lord. Because of that she is just over in the glory land. One day we will meet again.
Preacher Bob needs our continued prayers as do the other family members. The service will be at the church Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 6 PM. Friends will be received 5-6 PM.
