Questions That Must Be Answered Before You Can Be Revived

Lamentations 3: ⁴⁰ Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord. ⁴¹ Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.

Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he. 

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

These are the key to revival.  I developed these questions that each of us should answer honestly and can put us on the right path to revival.  Why do we do revivals time and again?  Don’t we get it right?  We wade through the cesspool of iniquity every day.  If we’re not careful we get caught up in it.  Satan is working.  We need a daily change to stay in line.  At best we’re just sheep—not the shepherd.  The devil tries to distract us from the change we need in our life to have revival.  So, what would you change?

Questions That Must Be Answered Before You Can Be Revived

Are you satisfied with the way you are?

If you could change, how and what would you change?

Satisfied?	Not Satisfied?	How Are You Treating God? (Your Worship: First John 1:1-3)
		Are you talking to him when you pray?
		Are you seeking the Lord daily?
		What do you offer him when you come to church? (I’m not talking about money.)
		Would you recommend your way of treating God to someone else?

 

Satisfied?	Not Satisfied?	How Are You Living Before God? (Your Walk:  Ephesians 5:1-8)
		How is your behavior before men?
		How is your behavior toward men?
		Are you following Biblical principles or self-principles?
		How are you and the Holy Spirit getting along?
		How clean and right has your living been lately?

 

Satisfied?	Not Satisfied?	What are you doing for God? (Your Work: Ephesians 6:5-7)
		How much do you share your testimony?
		How burdened are you about your stewardship?
		What is your attitude toward your responsibilities? (Every Christian has responsibilities.)
		Just what are you contributing to the growth of the church?
		How clear is your vision as a watchman?

Answer all of the questions and answer them honestly.  Do something about the answers that trouble you.  The only way to put our life together is to first break it down, discover our failures, and then bring them to God.

You can change anything you want:  for this is what revival is all about.  Ask yourself is the Lord satisfied with me?
