Chapter 30 of Jeremiah shows us about the end times. The time of Jacob’s Trouble comes from here and some from each tribe of Israel will be saved, the 144,000. Otherwise, none will be saved. The Holy Spirit must be working for people to be saved and he will be gone due to the rapture of the church. The only door open will be for the Jews. We must act now.
Jeremiah 30: 22 And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God. 23 Behold, the whirlwind of the Lord goeth forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked. 24 The fierce anger of the Lord shall not return, until he hath done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it.
Jeremiah 31: 1At the same time, saith the Lord, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people. 2 Thus saith the Lord, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest. 3 The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.
Those storms that came through the other day had black clouds. Wind was blowing and the clouds whirled around. All of a sudden the winds died down and began to blow into the storm. It was getting ready to break loose. God tells us in chapter 30 that a whirlwind is coming. It’s like watching a storm come closer and closer. It won’t go around us. If we don’t make preparation we’ll be hurting. Spiritually speaking, the clouds are on the horizon. Never before have we experienced God’s people being pushed as they are now. The storm is God’s judgment. The devil is behind the push on people. The time is coming that he will not out-push the storm God is bringing.
The devil is behind the re-imagined sentiments in the world. The difference between normal and abnormal, good and bad, right and wrong is all messed up. God will set it all straight. No one will be able to stand. Just like the flood in Noah’s day came, this storm will come. The whirlwind won’t cease. Whatever people do now will determine their fate when the whirlwind of God’s push comes. The devil will gather a remnant to fight the Lord at the end, but God will stop it all. I don’t want anyone to go through the tribulation of God’s judgment. You can find rest and peace in the midst of what’s going on. You can find strength and courage even today. Remember greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.
Man will soon come to the end of the line. The chance before the storm is here. We’ve been duly warned that the storm is coming. If you’ve never accepted Jesus, if your heart is indifferent and cold, there is plenty of warning. Open your eyes and look at God’s radar. The clouds are gathering. How many times has God dealt and pulled us toward him? I’m thankful for the pulling power and the day I responded to the call of God. He still pulls but people resist. For some he has turned his pull elsewhere. Do you need to tie up some loose ends? Call on the name of the Lord before the storm comes and the world is destroyed.
An animal knows when a storm is coming and tries to get to safety. A dog at a place Nita cleans has a thunder jacket for when he gets afraid of storms. He gets all snuggled up in it and feels safe. We have a thunder jacket in the righteousness of God. He offers us the garment of salvation and our identity with him. Draw near to God. Get right. Get ready. Wrap up in the thunder jacket of God’s grace. Verse 2 says they found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest. Before the storm breaks God will take us, the saved, out. We’ll go home to heaven where this judgment will not be. If you knew a tornado was coming in 10 minutes you’d do something. The warning of God is here. Don’t turn away if God is dealing with your heart. One last pull is happening.
Being in the United States right now is like being in the wilderness. If we want to see others get saved we need to ready ourselves. Be a servant found doing God’s will. Are you unsure? Get saved! Get ready to meet the Lord. The pulling of God is on right now. Once it stops the storm will hit with no escape. Before the push of judgment comes, be pulled to the Lord.
