Sunday's Mission
Program

Donna presented an excellent missions program.  She passed out hearts with
the names of the missionaries supported by the church.

In the Wizard of Oz, the Tin Man only wanted a heart. We need a heart of love
for the Lord and his work.  The characters in Wizard of Oz were following
the yellow brick road thinking it would get them to where they wanted to
be.  If we follow the road to heaven we will end up where we want to be.

As a mission-minded person and church there are things to consider. With a
little help from the kids:

LOVE

L = Laborer

• "For we are laborers together
  with God." (I Cor 3:9) Let us labor together to win the lost.

O = Obeyed

• "By faith Abraham, when he was
  called to go out…he obeyed." (Heb 11:8) Jesus called us to
  spread the gospel to all the earth. Let us work together to obey the
  command.

V = Voice

• “Behold a voice out of the cloud,
  which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; he ye him.”
  (Matt 17:5)  Let us labor together
  so that others hear the voice of the Lord and be saved.

E =
Everlasting

• “For God so loved the world that he
  gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not
  perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)  Let us work together that all may
  receive everlasting life because of the LOVE of God.
