 John 11:32
Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his
feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. 33 When Jesus therefore saw her
weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the
spirit, and was troubled, 34 And
said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see. 35 Jesus wept. 36 Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him! 37 And some of them said, Could not
this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man
should not have died?

Mary said “Lord if you had been here…” Jesus said “where have
you laid him?” Jesus was the friend of Lazarus; he loved him. We need a
relationship with Jesus more than anybody for he loves us as much as he loved
Lazarus.

The stone was moved by the power of the Lord. Our sin is the
same; it needs the power of God to be removed from our heart. God didn’t just
love us; he SO loved us. We’ll find no other such love anywhere. He went
through the hardships; He wept. All of is for us. Jeremiah says that his love
is an everlasting love. He brought us the fullness of God. Heaven comes only
through his love. That love takes us to peace and hope.

Jesus looked down
through time to today. He sees us and loves us. Without him we have no hope. He will give us hope.  Oh, how he loves us.
