Tonight brought an unexpected surprise! Instead of special singing, Pastor Bob asked the congregation what each looked forward to the most when we all get to Heaven. The response was immediate and very emotional. Here are just a few of the responses:
" To see my child again, who had died as an infant."
" To ask Jesus all the questions about the many mysteries of life."
" To finally be free from the presence of Satan and Sin."
" To know a day that doesn't hold problems and worries and pain."
" To be young again…forever!"
" To hear the sounds of both angels and Christians with glorified bodies singing together."
" To behold the incredible sights the Bible describes, and to know it is my Home!"
(everyone) " To see Him at last, and to get to kneel before Him, and to get to stay."
We all joined in humble prayer of thanks, asking our Lord to help us all to live closer, and to help us to witness more earnestly to those lost in our lives. Then we closed the service with fellowship and singing. I wished you could have been with us.
