My how hot this summer has turned out to be! Even situated among these beautiful mountains, the heat of the day can be unbearable. On days such as these, there's no place more welcome than a nice shade tree, and a good lounge chair. As a young boy, I loved to find just such a places and lie down on my back, listen to the wind in the trees, and watch those bright, billowy clouds drift lazily by. I like to think of our website here as a shady spot too. Somewhere where we can come in from the heat of life and relax, enjoy, and find refreshment for my heart and soul. Whatever this summer is bringing you, my prayers are that you can find some shade here too. May these pages bring a cold drink of water to your soul, and help you endure in these harsh, uncertain times. May the God of all seasons be with you today and assure you that He is ever listening to your prayer. Never forget that He is always only a moment of faith away.
